Can you videotape our mitzvah service?
Most temples allow us to videotape the service. If not, we can videotape the rehearsal. Or we offer the option of reception coverage only.

Will the video be intrusive?
No. Our style is to capture the day as it happens. We do not interfere in the events or with your guests. We do our best to remain unobtrusive. One of the most frequent comments we get from our clients is, "I didn't even know you were there."

Do you use bright lights?
We use no lights at all during the service and only a light on the camera for most of the party. During toasts and some dancing we use some extra light. The new digital cameras we use give an excellent picture in very low light. We are finding that more and more, we rarely need to use lights.

Who will actually videotape our event?
We have several videographers who work for us full time or on the weekends. You can rest assured that all of them have years of experience. Many of them have been working with us from five to fifteen years. Depending on the type of coverage you want, two or three videographers will be at your party.

Do you interview the guests?
That's entirely your choice. We will ask you before your party if you would like interviews or not. Many people love having some of their guests interviewed, and we're happy to do it. Others don't want to have their guests interviewed, and that's fine too.

When we do interview guests, we always respect their privacy. We ask if anyone at the table would like to say something. We never force anyone to speak.

How long will my video be?
The video of the service is as long as the service lasts. The average party video can be anywhere from 1 ½ hours to 2 hours long. The length depends on both the things that happen during the party and the amount of coverage you want. We carefully edit every video to ensure that it always stays interesting and includes the things that are important to you.

You can also choose a Deluxe Synopsis, which is a half-hour highlight video of the day set to music of your choice.

What kind of cameras do you use?
We use the latest Sony, professional digital cameras. They capture excellent picture quality even in low light. And our digital editing process ensures that every copy you receive has the best picture and sound quality possible.

What is your style of videotaping?
We videotape events in a documentary style, always respecting the privacy of your guests. This means we remain alert to capture the events that happen naturally. We don't manufacture "scenes". Our style is creative and original without disturbing the events of the day.

Can you put our video on a DVD?
Yes, we can give you copies of your video on DVD, videotape, or both formats. DVD's are an excellent way to preserve the quality of your video for years to come. The ability to skip ahead to watch any moment of your party is another great reason DVD's are a good choice for bar mitzvah videos.
